Most of the AI humanizers don’t work. The problem with AI humanizers is that they need to constantly update their tools otherwise they will lose out to the AI detectors who are updating. Most of the famous AI detectors are constantly updating their tools. Famous ones like ZeroGPT.com or GPTZero.me update it almost every month. These AI detectors also take samples from these humanizer tools and include it in their database to retrain their AI models. So, many of them will catch the outputs from these AI humanizers.

You as a user need to set your expectations right. First thing is, AI humanizers are not a one-click solution. You may need to try a few times with different settings to get this right. Also, when the AI detectors get updated, they do need some time to update their models to make it effective again. So, you can expect days or even weeks where they don’t work. I know that some of you are paid users and ideally shouldn’t have to listen to this, but trust me there is no way around this problem.
1. DecEptioner
DecEptioner is one of the best and most affordable AI humanizers out there. We constantly update and it works best against ZeroGPT, Turnitin, GPTZero, Originality.ai, and Winston AI. The best part is that we have a Free plan and a Chrome extension that has generous free limits.
Our tool will appeal the most to users who want a straightforward tool that simply works. It is not a one-click solution but it definitely works, if you spend some time with it.
The cons are that our tool doesn’t have the fancy features like automatically checking with the AI detectors, multi-language support, etc.
Even with these cons, if you want a no-nonsense affordable tool, and want to work only with English language then this is the tool for you.
2. StealthWriter.ai
Stealthwriter.ai is one of the most comprehensive and effective tools out there. It has all the nice-to-have features like multi-language support, automatically checking with the AI detector of your choice (if you have the API key). They have the regular “Ninja” and the sophisticated “Ghost” models that will help you humanize AI text more effectively.
One of the cons of Stealthwriter is that the readability of their outputs is not that great. Also, they try to bypass all the AI detectors with a single model, which is not ideal in my opinion.
Deceptioner takes the opposite approach, and targets a specific AI detector, which makes it more reliable. Anyways, they do have a robust tool and you can go for it if you don’t like Deceptioner.
3. Undetectable.ai
Undetectable.ai is one of the most famous in this list. It has quite a few interesting features like matching the style of input text, unlimited “Human Auto Typer” which basically mimics human-writing.
In my limited testing, it worked well against a few tools like Copyleaks and Originality.ai.
Though I have found out a few Reddit posts that complain of it not working, which warrants that you use their free plan before you commit to them.
Why do some AI humanizers fail to work?
Some AI humanizers fail to work because they either try to target all the AI detectors at once or they don’t update the models in time. Both of these things could lead to worse performance. Also, some of the AI humanizer tools are simply money grabs and they were never meant to work.
The Bottom Line
If you want a simple, reliable, affordable solution, and only want to work with English language then you need to go with Deceptioner. If you want a more comprehensive, slightly pricier tool with decent reliability, then you can go with Stealthwriter.ai. Or if you want to pick the most famous option, you can choose Undetectable.ai.
