The Art of Deception: Mastering the Craft of AI Content Detector Evasion!

The Art of Deception: Mastering the Craft of AI Content Detector Evasion!

Before I even begin getting into the nitty-gritty details of bypassing AI content detectors, I would like to tell you that AI content detectors don’t work. They are riddled with false-positives. Even if you write your content entirely by yourself, it is not guaranteed that it will not be flagged by these AI detectors.

Therefore, it is not uncommon to see Reddit posts, Twitter threads, etc. where people are sharing stories of how their completely hand-written essays were flagged.

This is why we have compiled this post to keep you updated with the latest post on how to bypass AI content detectors.

1. Replace and with & randomly

I know this one might seem odd to you but it works. This one is especially effective against AI detectors like Winston AI, and ZeroGPT.com. Also, don’t replace every ‘and’ with ‘&’. Do it as randomly as possible.

2. Use shorter sentences

As stupid as it may sound, writing 5-10 words sentences are extremely effective against AI detectors such as ZeroGPT.com, GPTZero.me, and Originality AI.

I have tested it multiple times on the above-mentioned AI detectors and it works surprisingly well. One more thing about this method is that it also tends to get great readability scores (like Flesch-Kincaid score).

Although, it might sound a bit weird and it would seem like a 7-year-old had written it. Nonetheless, we are trapped in this AI madness and there aren’t many things that you could do about it.

3. Avoid using overused ChatGPT words

ChatGPT tends to overuse some words and you should avoid using them in your text. Also, don’t go too hard with it as I have seen that you could get 100% human scores on almost all AI detectors while still using some of them.

I have collected a few of them overtime and here are they:

4. Increase frequency penalty and presence penalty with a prompt to humanize AI text

Increasing frequency and presence penalty won’t work in isolation. Use an exceptional humanize AI text prompt alongside increasing frequency and presence penalty to get the best out of it.

Here are a few of them that I have found out to work:

1. Rewrite the following using different figures of speech, use an active voice and vary your sentence structure to sound natural. Avoid unnecessary complex words and break up long, dense sentences. Ensure the writing sounds like a thoughtful person explaining something clearly:

2. Rewrite the following text using simple, straightforward language with occasional informal expressions and minor grammatical errors that mimic a non-native English speaker's writing. Use exclamation marks frequently, even for mundane statements, and incorporate rhetorical questions to engage the reader. Occasionally use ALL CAPS for emphasis on important words or phrases, and include some redundancy and repetition of ideas. Use simple analogies and insert phrases like "e.g." or "among others" to provide examples. Sometimes omit articles or use them incorrectly, and mix British and American English spellings. Use contractions inconsistently and insert unnecessary words or phrases. Include some run-on sentences and comma splices, while varying sentence structures. Incorporate technical terms related to the topic and add personal opinions without citation. Use present tense predominantly, even for historical events, and end some paragraphs with exclamation marks or rhetorical questions for emphasis!

5. Use Homoglyphs

I really hate this technique but I have seen that it works almost all the time. Basically, the thing is that you need to substitute English letters with their lookalikes.

The idea is that even if you replace a few letters in your entire text, it is enough to trip off those AI detectors.

It is extremely difficult to spot them by just looking at the text. You need some kind of WYSWIG text editor (like Microsoft Word) to catch them. If you copy-paste a text with homoglyphs on such editors with spellcheck turned on, you would be able to see that it either underlines that particular word with the homoglyph or pinpoint the exact letter which it thinks is a homoglyph.

6. Use an AI text humanizer

AI text humanizer are tools that uses AI to rewrite text in a certain way to bypass AI detectors. This is the best option if you do have the money and don’t want to spend too much effort in bypassing AI detectors. They are also not guaranteed to work but they have a much higher probability in getting the job done as they are made to rephrase text in a very particular way to bypass AI detection.

You can use our tool Deceptioner if you want to get a feel of how they work. It has a free plan which you could use to test the tool.

The Bottom Line

While AI content generation has definitely helped people in writing content, it has initiated a plethora of AI detectors that is making lives of many who still write content by themselves a living hell. They can use the techniques above to get around this issue.

If you want a free option then the best bet would be to just develop a very unique style of writing content that simply is too distinct from these LLMs.

However, if you have the money and want an easier route then use an AI text humanizer like Deceptioner.
